This man’s identity is concealed as he releases one of 50 specially tagged redfish to launch the Coastal Conservation Association’s S.T.A.R. Tournament The CCA Louisiana/Mercury Outboards/CITGO Statewide Tournament and Anglers' Rodeo (S.T.A.R.) begins Saturday, May 26 and wraps up 101 days of competition on September 3. The first redfish bearing a 2007 red S.T.A.R. tag landed by a registered participant will win Motor Trend’s Truck of the Year, a 2007 Chevy Silverado. The next nine registered participants landing a tagged redfish claim a 22-foot water-ready boat package rounding out the tagged redfish division. Fourteen additional boat packages are offered in heaviest fish divisions and the Academy Sports & Outdoors Youth Division.
